Noshka Blood, A.K.A. Noshfar

Properties

Material Characteristics

Smooth, dark red liquid

Origin & Source

It's siphoned from the Noshka.

History & Usage

Everyday use

Noshfar isn't used commonly (fortunately), but it's used as a narcotic. It's most commonly taken willingly by athletes or young women, as it enhances physical strength in both sexes and fills out curves in females. It's also used by those in the slave trade (or kidnappers in general) to coerce people into slavery, as it heightens sexual desires to a nearly uncontrollable level.

Cultural Significance and Usage

Noshfar is common to The Ayan, and it's often ingested by a husband and wife the night of their Bonding.

Hazards

Noshfar is instantly addicting and heightens the victim's sexual desires to a nearly uncontrollable level. Taking noshfar also creates a bond between the user and whatever Noshka provided their blood, resulting in a telepathic link between the two that allows the Noshka to manipulate the victim and even cause them to experience hallucinations. In many cases, Noshka lead the victims to their deaths.

Distribution

Trade & Market

Noshfar is an illegal drug mainly sold in Alger, Teraco, and the nomadic lands. It's advertised as an Ayan wonder-drug that will make you both stronger and more desirable, and the fact that it's blood is always kept under wraps.

Law & Regulation

Noshfar is illegal across Kersir, as well as in most of Teraco (though there are shady areas of Teraco where there are no regulations against it). However, one rule that any noshfar handler follows is that a user must only receive blood from one Noshka; to mix bloods would cause irreparable mental damage, ensure the user's death, and potentially jeopardize the supply as multiple Noshka fight for a right to the victim.
