Xobeng (a.k.a. Little Ice)

Xobeng, "Little Ice," is the small, white, female fox kept as a pet by Diaanen Elorialir Alea'athem. Dianna found her as a small pup, separated from her mother, lost, and cold. She took the little fox in, warmed her, and fed her. She decided to name her Xobeng, which means "Little Ice." Xobeng became her pet and constant companion. Dianna and Xobeng have a near telepathic understanding, and Dianna has taught her many tricks that she will perform on command. Xobeng protects Dianna, warning her of anyone approaching, and will even attack anyone that threatens Dianna. With most people, however, Xobeng is quite friendly and loves to be petted, almost like a small dog or cat.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Under the care of Dianna, Xobeng is a healthy fox, with thick fur, a long tail, bright eyes, and a filled-out frame, neither too thin nor too fat.

Body Features

During the winter, Xobeng's fur is pure white, making her almost impossible to see in snowy or icy conditions. During the spring and fall, her fur turns light, mottled brown on her back. Among the trees and undergrowth of the forest, she is well camouflaged, and she moves quickly and silently. She has excellent hearing, vision, and sense of smell. Very few things escape her notice.

Special abilities

Xobeng can move utterly silently through the forest and in the snow, and is almost impossible to see in those conditions, especially when she is not moving. She has extremely keen senses, allowing her to hear and smell certain things from even many miles (kilometers) away.

Xobeng is intelligent (for a fox) and has a deep, nearly telepathic connection with Diaanen Elorialir Alea'athem. She knows many tricks that she will perform on command, but she often knows what Dianna wants her to do without any words being spoken or signals given. She is very protective; she will attack anyone she feels is a threat to Dianna.
