Dwarvirim

Dwarvirim are a sentient, intelligent species native to Derkomai. They typically live in mountainous regions. The Dwarvirim are somewhat xenophobic, preferring the company of their own kind, but are not usually immediately hostile to outsiders. They have a strained relationship with Elvirim and Human people, but occasionally friendships have been formed between Dwarvirim, Elvirim, and Human individuals. Dwarvirim and Orkrim have a strong enmity, and Dwarvirim will usually attack Orkrim (and vice versa) on sight.
Dwarvirim are great miners and explorers of the mountains and high latitudes. They craft beautiful items of precious metals and stones, but their handiwork in fabrics and wood are less refined than those of the Elvirim. Their weapons are sturdy, well-made, and sharp, crafted from the finest ores of copper, tin, zinc, and iron, and occasionally from steel.

Anatomy

They average about 48 inches (1.22 meters) in height and 175 pounds (80 kilograms) in weight. They are exceedingly strong for their size. The dwarvirim are usually bearded.
