Tieflings
Originally, the demon blooded people usually known as tieflings, werent originally that way. At the beginning they were the people from the city state of Kdaav, from the southern part of the eastern continent.
The are they lived in was controlled by a group of city states, who offered sacrifices to their gods in exchange of their blessing and their help, so skirmishes and organized wars known as the Flowered wars for the purpose of obtaining slaves and sacrifices. Unfortunately for Kdaav, it was located in the middle, so they always suffered the heaviest of casualties.
It is said that one day, they decided to change that through any mean necessary. And so the priests, mages and scientists of the city started to look for a solution. They investigated every type of magic, every creature that might exist in the planes, anything to give them the edge they needed.
And finally, after a year and a day, a stranger appeared, a merchant from another plane with the head of a jackal, not saying his name, just that he was a merchant god. He told them that he could offer them what they needed, and the price was that they had to make a sacrifice to him, but he had no hurry, but they would know when the debt was payed. He offered them the blood of fiends and the means of extracting it and combine it with their own. He said it would make them stronger and tougher, and that they would gain their fiendish magic. The city desperate, accepted.
And so, the citizens of Kdaav started to capture any kind of fiend, to torture them and drain them from their blood and magic, and combine it with their own. A few generations, and every citizen in Kdaav had fiendish blood, making them a new race. And with their new gained powers, they easily conquered the neighboring regions, making a small but powerful empire.
One day, after many more generations, the jackal god appeared, and asked for his sacrifice. The people didnt though much of it, and went with it as normal. But at the end of the process, the patron god of the city, Kdaav, The Burning Sun that Dripped with the Blood of his Enemies, died on the spot, his soul consumed by the jackal god. They were tricked into sacrificing their most sacred god to him.
The jackal god escaped while laughing, and the gods of the other regions heard of what happened and the treachery of the fiendish blooded people. They destroyed the city over and over again, and to the survivors, told them that they would never be forgiven, until the jackal god was dead and that their souls would go to the Lower Planes until so. The empire they had gained, crumbled back to the small city state it once was.
The race known as tiefling started to walk all around the world, trying to gain any helo, any advantage, to kill the jackal god, and in the process, earned a reputation around Deos of their cunning and ruthleness, many of them using the advantage of their fiendish blood and their knowledge of demons, while others try to stay away from what cursed them in the first place.

Anatomy
If you tought that aasimars were varied because of their divine heritage, tieflings are even more varied. In general they have a humanoid body structure because most of the numbers are from breeding with other humanoids, but thats were similarities ends, becuase they have so many physical characteristics, that is it said that no two tieflings are alike.
Genetics and Reproduction
They have the ability to breed with any other humanoid race, minus aasimars and eladrins.
Ecology and Habitats
They live mostly in the region they originated, but they can be found all around the world, in search of a way to solve their problem.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are omnivore, but diets may also vary from tiefling to tiefling.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They have normal perceptive abilities, but because of their fiendish bloodline, they have the ability to see in the dark.
