Half breeds
Half breed is actually a catch for all term used for anyone that has parents of two different species.
How it came to happen there is no single or right answer, because the reasons are many, but the most common are love between the two parents; need, in the sense that a species or culture saw the usefulness of the half breed mixed parentage, and the unfortunate cases of rape. It has to be noted that all of these cases is common in all of the races in Deos.
Techincally almost every species in Deos can breed between each other, although in some cases, it might not even be a half breed but just another child of one of the parent species, like in the case of hamadryads, satyrs, tieflings, aasimar and the elementals, whose will always be born of those species.
But if one were to classify the most comon it would be the next 3: perya hin (half elves), orclaumn (half orcs), or muls (half dwarves). It also has to be noted that the most common half breeds are between a human and another species. This has created a joke between any non human species that humans in general are sluts that will sleep with almost everything. Bards and sorcerers doesn´t help their case either.
One of the most common thing among the half breeds is the feeling of being torn apart by two different cultures, and having to choose one of many paths that any of either parent race can offer. Because of this, they have better relationships with other half breeds, but they alse excel at being diplomats and mediators between races, since they actually understand the culture.
Unfortunately, there is also a sentiment of racism against them, either because of envy or actual hatred, becuase they normally have ablities that other full races might not have. A human might hate a mul or half orc because they are stronger than a normal human, or a half elf because they live longer. As such, they have become easy scapegoats. In moder days, this is less common, although is still felt.
It has to be noted that if two half breeds of the same type have a child, the child will be the half breed species. This has been used as political weapon to say that they are not only a hybrid, but also a whole new race.
Basic Information
Anatomy
There are so many races in Deos, that the only thing in common in the half breeds is their humanoid physique. They normally have characteristic from both parents races, but combined or diminished.
Genetics and Reproduction
They are hybrids of two species, what does that tells you. But for the sake of explaining, they have the same reproductory ability from both parents races.
Ecology and Habitats
They live everywhere.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are omnivores, but their diet may vary depending on who the parents races are.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They have normally the sensory abilities of the parent who has that ability stronger.
