A creation of Tiamat that had a great hoard of precious metals and gems. Mammon was once respected by other dragons. However, Mammon grew obsessed with collecting wealth and hid their stash near the soon to be astral plane. Mammon failed to heed Tiamat's call to arms, only attacking those who came near it's pile. Tiamat tried to convince them to fight by saying that she had an even greater stash herself, but this only drove Mammon to be more greedy. Tiamat had given Mammon great power and when she was hurled to the mundane world, Mammon was found by the good gods and bound to a circle of the astral plane. Mammon remained, hoping to attract greedy souls that could steal for it.
