After the descent of man, a great TRUE DWARF named Ilsensine was sent to Dhuum to create the scythes that would become emblematic of the TRUE minotaurs reapers. She created a great many powerful scythe that could cut through even the most powerful wards against death that mortals could make. Ilsensine was said to be from the line of Obair , god of work and perseverance and never failed to deliver when it was needed. As time went on Dhuum became more mad and demanded cruel weapons which could destroy the souls of mortals. Ilsensine was deeply troubled but continued on, convincing herself that through hard work she would make things right. When Dhuums reapers failed to kill Kelemvor and his band of mortals, Dhuum flew into a fury and demanded that Ilsensine create a weapon that could pierce the godly shields given to Kelemvors party by the gods. Ilsensine knew she could not shatter a shield created by Torag but felt compelled to try as she feared Dhuum would rend her soul. In time, Ilsensine became insane as she kept at an impossible task. When Dhuum was toppled she was spared and sent to hell, completely mad and perhaps unaware that her former boss was now gone.
