The Death of Kane Reynard

Whose death is still greatly mourned or remembered in your world?

When the Masters took power at the time of the Formation, the original 8 ranged in ages. Kane Reynard Reynard, being a human, was the first to pass. The right hand man of Elysuen, Kane had been a part of the great journey that brought about The Masters and The Grand Library. Calm and collected and incredibly trustworthy and loyal, Kane was loved by almost all that he met and when his time came there was an incredible drain on the continent.
It should be noted that Kane died in the way many of us would hope to, surrounded by friends and family, knowing that the things you worked on your life will be a legacy that lives on for the foreseeable future. Ever loyal to the cause they had set out to accomplish, Kane had requested that the Masters don't leave his seat unfilled and therefore brought about the need to qualify new Masters for the future, a tradition still held today.
