Third-Eye of the Daughters of Men

"How did you know they would be there?" Lillian shifted her gaze out to the scattered remnants of what remained of the heretic camp they had decimated. Their target had been unsuspecting and unprepared. Lillian was not accustomed to such things. The cloister she had come from had become fat and lazy from the lack of threats in their city.

"I could see them, child. The mother showed me where they would be. That is all there is to it. As easy as you can see the sun in the sky or the leaves on the trees. That is how easily the mother's gifts allow me to see where these snakes make their nests." Lillian furrowed her brow as she listened to Third-Eye Ayla Micah speak. I'm going to do this one day. She decided. That was her first step towards her destiny.

Every term served is accompanied by a small chevron tattoo in the center of the forehead of the Third-Eye with tick marks to indicate every year served in the position. These chevrons can be black, but often times they are accompanied by a fine colored line of adornment to indicate which cloister the Third-Eye served within.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

At any point the Third-Eye can be deemed as not being what is best for the cloister by the council of elders. If this is determined to be the case prior to the end of the first year and a day of servitude, the council will enact the rights to strip the Third-Eye of their position, where they will undergo a week of mourning for their bad decisions. This week of mourning is a week of solitude where the elders must consider and weigh their failure to the whole.
