Odius; Deity of Magic

(Oh-Dee-Us) symbol: A great abnormally shaped crystal of thousands of different colours.
Odius is the Deity of Magic and is formless and Timeless. Magic users and spellcasters all over Deloth worship them. As the origin of Magic Odius spent their time in study and meditation, absorbing the power of the planar and cosmic energies. When a group of jealous gods murdered them, Odius's body exploded into tiny fragments loaded with magical energy. These chunks landed on Deloth and seeped magic into the world and the people living in it.
Odius has common places of worship wherever great magical minds coalesce, the universities and acadamies often hold a chapel or artifact to their patron deity.
