Luron; God of the life and death cycle.

Perhaps the most worshipped god, on par with Vesu. Everybody on Deloth will at points in their lives take part in these rituals and speak his rites. Luron holes domain over the cycle and it is his duty to keep the two balanced. Luron's army of valkyries usher the dead into the next place to prepare for the next life. Or bring specific souls to him to face divine judgement.
There are a significant number of sects:
Olancian Sect: The Olancian sect is one of the most organised, the church is very strict in the record keeping of both births and deaths throughout olancia, and as such they have become a staple of communities all over.
Rezicathian sect: The worshippers of Rezicath believe in the sacred journey of death as a spiritual pathway to the next life. The believe there is a great desert to be crossed in the afterlife and it holds obstables to test you on the lessons learned during your life.
Eizean sect: The worshippers of Eizea believe in lifetimes alternating between being a highborn and a lowborn. This has caused a strange disparity between the funerals of the two societies, highborn taking funerals as a tragic affair while the lowborn treat them as celebrations.
Avarnian sect: The Avarnian sect sees the sacrifice of death for a nation as the most sacred of acts. These priests of Luron are all integrated into the military structure and commonly invoke holy rights as claimers of unworthy souls that require cleansing. These are some of the few that may perform magic in Avarniom.
