Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a rare condition that occurs due to excessive production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland. Symptoms of hyperthyroidism include, but are not limited to: weight loss; increased appetite; heat intolerance; anxiety; trouble sleeping; and sweating. The mortality rate from this condition is extremely low.
