The Almanac

The world of Krtha remains scarred by sin. Much of its once beautiful lands now lay waste, rotting without a soul to hear. The souls of old lords never leave their graves, terrified to see what the ages may have done to their land. Lands inhabited by civilized peoples have no peace. Warmongering and corrupt, many fail to escape the endless cycle of incompetent rulers. No man is safe in this world, death awaits at every corner. Whether it be brutal tribes, who seek virtue in grotesque custom, or slave ships carrying the weak and innocent. Even in the realms which may be considered advanced, the corrupt and cunning prey on the weak and feeble. Nothing awaits men of benevolence in this world. Krtha is built by killers, Krtha is built by thieves, Krtha is built by men with no emotion or remorse. And so it is and it always shall be. The cycle continues, the wheel spins, and not even gods may stop it.
