The Final Years of Order

The four Primordials fashion Deia, and then perish.

Two years before the end of the Period of Order, as it is called, the three Primordials, Terrus and Pyrrus and Aerus, began work on the planet that would be known as Deia. Aqua had lagged behind her fellows, for she had begun existence in a deep slumber, but now caught up to them, as Terrus had finished shaping the sphere of the planet. Once she arrived, she spilled out water across the globe, and Terrus nearly drowned, but raised the new continent beneath himself and returned to the surface. No grudge was held against Aqua, and both went about their business.

In this time, Aqua created the River Llun and the Lake of the Llun, which became the Lunar Sea after the sundering of the world. Soon after, Pyrrus emerged from heating the planet's core, and marveled at the work of Aqua. In an attempt to replicate it, he cast a great river of fire that flowed down and caused harm to Aqua's domain. Seeing his error, he sealed away the source of the fires, and cast the remainder into the Void. Aqua was livid with Pyrrus. His repentance softened her heart, however, and the two would grow close over the next several months.

These two, in their love, worked on mingling their powers to create new wonders. They formed islands from molten rock, achieving the same work of Terrus. The Earthshaper was dismayed by this.

It was not long before Chaos began to whisper to Terrus. Doubt turned into rage. Terrus came upon the couple, and crushed Aqua to death. Pyrrus, burning with vengeance, drew power from the Llun River and struck down upon Terrus as a lightning bolt from the sky, killing himself and that giant. The continent was torn asunder.

Aerus came down from the sky. He saw the desolation below, and lamented for his kin. He then took notice of many bodies that had been fashioned from the corpses of the Primordials, and breathed out his last breath to give them life. The world of Deia had been made.
