Stadescos

Stadescos is one of the three Dáotara countries on the western continent. It is one of the first countries that was established and one of the first to expand a lot beyond its original borders. The leading family in Stadescos is the Velázquez Dynasty , who have founded and ruled over Stadescos ever since. Like every other Dáotára country, Stadescos is a monarchy.

History

The sisters Nerea and Celia Velázquez the first were the ones fighting for a position at the top of the Dáotara society. After winning the fighting in the middle of the western continent, they established a capital for their new country‌ - Káth Korneag. The Velázquez Dynasty has ruled Stadescos since the beginning and is still ruling it today. Throughout their history, multiple attempts were made to end the dynasty.

The most recent attempt was made by the Empire under the leadership of Eileen Boyd. They killed most of the royal family to put pressure on the reigning monarch and almost succeeded when they cornered the monarch and his remaining family with the intention of killing them all. The youngest daughter of the family, Celia Alana Velázquez V. survived though and became the new crown princess and hope of the country.

Current Political Situation

Due to the recent events around the world connected to the Empire. Stadescos is currently being ruled by a proxy, César Rodriguez. He is replacing the crown princess Celia Alana Velázquez V. until she is ready to take on the throne and her duty of Queen.

Stadecos has allies around the world. One of the longest lasting alliances is with Yarchua. These two countries have been allied for a long time. There have been arranged marriages. Additionally in the recent years, Celia Alana Velázquez V. of Stadescos was raised partially in Yarchua after her family´s death.

On the other hand, Stadescos is currently at war with Methian, their neighboring country to the north. This feud has a long history and is being held over the Lochan Fola - the Blood Lakes - which hold valuable ressources.

Geography

Stadescos is located on the western continent. It is one of three Dáotara monarchies on that continent. The neighbouring countries are Methian to the north, Taikia to the south and one Clándhia country to the east and west each. On the peninsula to the very west of Stadescos is a Pèokáme clan based.

Stadescos is a country with plenty of natural ressources and it has a lot of ports throughout its coast, a combination which makes it a very wealthy country. Stadescos has multiple sources of Skaosium, making it both an important exporter of weapons and one of the strongest military forces in the world.

Population

Most people in Stadescos are Dáotara. Though it is allowed for Clándhia and Pèokáme to live there as well. They are regarded as second class citizens in some ways though. People in Stadescos speak their own Stadescan dialects and the Global Tongue.
