Session 2: "Up a River Without a Paddle" Report

General Summary

Thubbo and Kezias bonded a bit. Had a good talk.

Dream: POV watches a good man's life and then send him on his way? Another man cowers. The man begging, please it's not my time. Dream shows a man who is selfish, tricks another on the road to murder them. This man is bad. The man is consumed.

All party members shared a vision.

Be'llor built a small shrine to the Storm Mother, believing the vision to be of her.

Party discusses the shared dream.

Forced off a boat, encountered a couple owlbears.

Dagda distracts them while the rest of the party sneaks around them.

Long Rest again.

Have a Dream of Thubbo's past, during some sort of battle. An ambush from the Habzun Tribe is witnessed. Thubbo watches many of his people go down in the fight. Thubbo runs to the Chief, his father. Thubbo gets his first kill during the ambush. Thubbo's friend is killed, faced down. Thubbo's friend met a good death.

The party traveled some more.

They may camp again.

Feylan detected the smell of sulphur and he and Artain went to investigate.

They did not find anything, but Feylan recognized the smell related to the "demons".

The party experienced another dream: the Dream of Kezias discovering his wife was mortally ill.

The party learns the Kezias's wife died 18 months prior.

The party goes out to the smell of sulphur, where they find burning hounds. They engage and fight, ultimately killing 5 hounds.

Kezias learned that Artain's clan does not fight in the skirmishes on the border.
