Etheldar, God of Enmity
Mythos surrounding Etheldar are relatively new. It has only been recently that claims of sightings have occurred, that stories have begun to swirl around in the fringe settlements near the constant churn of war. The first such sightings were reported east of Valonar. Sightings of blood-red crescents in the skies, burning and dripping crimson rain down on the battlefields below. Elaborate stories of a bleak, black dust cloud descending upon peaceful villages, leaving behind feuds and warring families.
Etheldar, the Vengeful Shadow, the Blood Serpent, the Whispering Wrath, manifests as a dark shadow, an amorphous, dusty black cloud that shifts and writhes, reflecting the seething resentments and deep-seated grudges of mortals. He is felt, not seen. He is the chill air that renders your skin full of goosebumps, he is the oppressive press on your chest in a dark room, in places of war and conflict.
Further in recent years, some few who have encountered Etheldar reported whispers promising power through hatred, through enmity. Those claiming to follow Etheldar often adorn their bodies with vicious scarrings of crescents, shattered chains, or twin serpents locked in eternal combat.
