Krackens Reach

Krakens Reach- coastal cliffs to the east of the Frozen Sound.  Lore tells was the site of an ancient battle between the Kraken and a strong hold whose ruins may still be found.  Now the tall coastal cliffs look out over the sound, while creatures lurk in the caves beneath. It is said the tunnels lead deep underground where treasures may be found.
at the Tavern, the bard sings: once long ago, the kraken rose and fall, the waves upon the shore, washing land side down, into the ocean bore. But land men did they call, to fight against the swell. And so there did befall, a war on oceans wall. Kraken hard pressed attack, but finally did it crack. when final waves fell back, many did they lack.
