Basic Information

Anatomy

This species has two forms: a humanoid form and a wolf form. In their human form the hair humans would have is a lot more like fur and is thicker, they have very sharp teeth. Their eyes can be similar to human in coloring gold, red, or purple.
In their wolf form they are very similar to actual wolves, but are larger. Their eyes and fur remain the same color. If they were to dye their hair their fur would retain that color.

Growth Rate & Stages

during the first 13 years of there life there ability to transform is controls by the phase of the moon for example during a full moon they could transform fully but if its a crescent they can only transform to the point of having longer nails more paw like hands and padding on there feet and hands. once they get to 14 they can transform without the help of the moon, when wifwolfs are pregnant there transformations go back to being controlled by the moon, and the baby wifwolf aka pips transform with there mom well in her stomach the pip is born in whatever transformation there mom was in. there are no men when a wifwolf wants a baby another wifwolf can transform to do the job a male would

Ecology and Habitats

wifwolves thrive the best near lakes and rivers especially on mountains or in forests. they generally form packs of about 10-20 wifwolves were each takes a roll they think they would be best at. but if they are in an area they generally dont do well in there packs will be smalller

Dietary Needs and Habits

they eat a large diet of meat, berrys and nuts, they also grow there own herbs for there food and they smoke meat for winter

Biological Cycle

once wifwolves reach 14 they form a pack of friends and leave there mothers pack they generally wander from one week to a year before settling down and building houses, well wandering they often find members of other packs there age to join them in there pack, if the wifwolves leave during winter they generally wait longer before settling down and building during winter there fur gets thicker

pack names are similar to human last names, but they don't need to be related, wifwolves are assigned a birth name during the first year of there life, and then are given a permanent name on there first b-day

wifwolfs often date each other for around 8 months and then get married, if they have remanded together to this point the alpha (leader) will officiate there marriage and if the couple wants a child one of the wifwolfs in the couple will chose to be the one who is pregnant and then there partner will impregnated them

To start a relationship it’s custom to bring a shell to the person they want to date

wifwolves can speak any human language if they learn it in there human form, but in there wolf form they have specific howls and barks to communicate basic things, pips can tell when its there moms howl
