Basic Information

Anatomy

These people have three forms, a human form; a faun form with a human torso, antlers and deer legs; and a deer form.  Even in their human form they have antlers.

Genetics and Reproduction

Courting rituals happen in the spring their reindeer form - battle displays with crashing antlers to impress the females.  They reproduce and gestate in their humanoid form.  Gestation takes about 230 days.

Growth Rate & Stages

Calves are born in the winter, in their faun form.  They remain nursing calves for about a year and a half.
Males grow antlers in the early spring and loose them in the winter.  Females grow antlers in the early summer and loose them in the spring.  Their first antlers are tiny knobs.  Each year they grow back larger.

Ecology and Habitats

They live in arctic and tundra environments.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They are herbivores.  Their diet consists largely of lichens and grasses.
