Priestess of the Temple of the Seven Moons - (Version 1.0) NPC Class

When a person becomes a priestess of the temple they forgo their cultural and societal heritage and devote themselves completely to the temple. As they advance through the levels of training they are shown secrets from each of the Deities of the 7 moons. The Temple of the 7 Moons is a temple, and faith, and is one that worships an entire pantheon of deities instead of just one. This means they embrace all the aspects of that pantheon.

Playing the Priestess of the 7 Moons

This is an NPC class, so if you choose to play it you may gain XP and advance through the levels of the class. This also means that you would not be questing, but instead you would be working to help the other players complete quests and be successful in the game.

Armor Allowed: None

Weapons Allowed: None

Level 1

Title and Station Initiate: at this level you have the title and station of Initiate. You are learning the basics of the Temple and are not assigned to any particular Deity yet.

Revival Can revive players that are at 0 HP to full status. The player is then set to 1 HP. This can only be performed in the Temple.

Minor Heal You heal 1 HP per player per touch.

Vow of Truth Can’t tell a lie to a member of the Temple. Temple priestess takes a vow to tell the truth upon initiation.

Ghost Talker You can communicate with Ghosts.

Level 2

Title and Station At this level you have the title and station of Pupil. Your learning advances at this level, but you are still learning the basics.

Vestments Veil with forehead band and gold bracelet to show your healing level and gold belt with your first skill link and crystal necklace to amplify power.

Falling Stars A Priestess has 3 “stars” in each hand, that they can toss into battle if needed. Whoever they hit takes two (2) damage.

Level 3

Title and Station Nightwatch Priestess (of Silvan-ri), you now have the title and station of the Nighwatch Priestess. You are now starting to learn various secrets and teachings from each of the deities in the pantheon.

Silvan-ri’s Light You can now cast/perform the light effect, in and out of town.

Advanced Water Walking You can travel across river obstacles and may take up to 4 players with you. Unlike the Monk Class, this is done through divine magic instead of running skill.

Level 4

Title and Station Sacred Liberator (Of Valorous), you now have the title and station of the Sacred Liberator.

Create Holy water Bless water to make it into Holy Water, which deals 3 HP damage to undead, monsters, demons.

Plague Immunity You do not take damage from plague areas.

Poison Antidote You are now immune to poison attacks. The damage bonus from the Noble Class Poison Use is also negated.

Level 5

Title and station Magi Scholar (of M’nak), you now have the title and station of the Magi Scholar

Divination Can detect the next clue location/help guide the party.

Celestial Convergence 3 priestesses hold 3 moons to hold a ritual of coming together and reaching to the sky to chant. Makes all scrolls in use invalid while chanting during round. (Or I found little hourglasses with different times, we can hold those up to determine how long our powers last)

Level 6

Title and Station Mistress (of Lyss), you now have the title and station of the Mistress.

Warfare While chanting, whatever party a Priestess is with is given an extra +1 HP.

Disarm Whoever the Priestess touches drops their weapon.

Level 7

Title and Station Rebirth Priestess (of Brynus), you now have the title and station of the Rebirth Priestess.

Resurrection Come back at full HP with +1hp until sun down.

Bone Mill This is milk powder used to toss at an opponent to freeze them for 10 seconds.

Level 8

Title and station Keeper of the Undying Darkness, you now have the title and station of the Keeper of the Undying Darkness.

Death and decay Black bombs are lit and last for 90 seconds while the priestess runs away. Whoever comes in contact with smoke loses -3hp.

Eternal Rest 2 Priestesses come together to chant, holding black candles. People who die cannot be turned into the undead. They remain dead.

Level 9

Title and station Blood Priestess, you now have the title and station of the Blood Priestess.

Sacrifice If a priestess is willing to sacrifice herself, she may be able to bring a player back to life. But cannot return and is not able to be used until after the battle is over. Must be revived by the High Priestess.

Major Heal Heal a character up to full starting HP.

Level 10

Title and Station High Priestess, you now have the title and station of the High Priestess.

Book of Death Mass massacre of 5 players on a field.

Lord of Light Mass revive 5 players who have been depleted HP.

Reincarnate The Priestess may Reincarnate a player that has been erased from time via the Oracle class ability. When the player is Reincarnated they keep all of their XP, but when they come back they may pick a new name, class, and culture if they wish, or stay the same. Whatever they choose they are highly encouraged to role play this.

What is an NPC

If you’d like to play, but want to reduce costs, then you can sign up as an NPC or Monster. If you choose to play as an NPC or monster, you may be given a role (perhaps more than one). You can specify a combat or non-combat role. You don’t have to choose a class and culture as an NPC, we will choose one for you. You will receive double experience points, standard starting gold, and are eligible for Royalty Points. You will also get an entry at half price.

THE PURPOSE

Monsters, NPCs, and Staff allow the LARP to run smoothly and help players who don't know exactly what they want to play, or that want to help, and/or need help with discounts to take part in the LARP.

The BIG Difference

between an NPC and an Adventurer is that an NPC’s primary job is to help the story move forward and to help players. NPCs fill jobs like healers, essential townsfolk roles, etc.
