Dark Elf Culture - Followers of the Dark Lady. (1.2)

The Dark Elves are connected to the world through caverns and tunnels dug millennia ago via the Elemental Plane of Earth. They have a small, but thriving empire in the underground regions of the planet. Rumors abound about how they have connected most of the planet through their tunnels and corridors. Their home region is unknown, heavily secreted, nor do any know what their agenda might be. There are two different factions of Dark Elves, the followers of the Dark Lady (aka Lolth) and the followers of the Silver Maiden (aka Elistrae). It was the followers of Lolth that first turned from the path of good and rejected the traditional Elvish faith. They now follow the will of their Dark Lady and work to spread her will in the world.  

Restricted Classes

Battle Cleric, Paladin, Healer, Samurai, Hoplite, Hexenkreiger, Man at Arms, YuXia.  

Religion

Some Dark Elves worship the Dark Lady (also known as Lolth or the Spider Queen), who revels in hidden secrets, darkness, assassination, torment, and treachery.  

Special Abilities

Level 1
Natural Slyness: When you hit a target from the side or behind you may call out “backstab.” If you do, the target is reduced to 0 HP. This ability can be used once per day (1x/day) and can be renewed.   Undersea Knowledge: You know secret underground passages that allow you to bypass ocean obstacles. This works for you and your party. While in the underground passages, you and your party cannot be attacked by other parties, NPCs, or monsters, unless they are, or contain within their group, another dark elf.   First Strike: You know secret underground passages that allow you to bypass ocean obstacles. This works for you and your party. While in the underground passages, you and your party cannot be attacked by other parties, NPCs, or monsters, unless they are, or contain within their group, another dark elf.  
Level 3
Blessing of the Dark Lady: You gain +1 damage with shortsword, dagger, and knife. The number of uses of any necromancy ability is increased by 50% (e.g. six uses of Raise Dead per day becomes nine).  
Level 6
Mesmerizing Lights: Creates a screen of multi-colored lights before the target player, creature, or NPC causing them to become mesmerized by the display. Target will not attack until they are attacked, or the caster stops concentrating on the ability, and will remain mesmerized as long as they take no damage. APR is 0 while mesmerized. This stops if the target or caster is attacked or if the caster stops concentrating on the target. Can be used three times per day (3x day) and can be renewed but does not work on players of higher level than the caster.  
Level 9
Kiss of the Dark Lady: Any follower of the Dark Lady that is a necromancer can create undead that are immune to Revival and Holy Bolt spells. Due to extensive training in the use of poison, all followers of the Dark Lady that are using a shortsword, knife, or dagger can inflict poison damage to a target opponent that reduces the target’s maximum HP to 1. Healing through spells, healers, scrolls, or potions won't restore this lost maximum HP. The target player’s HP will return to normal at dawn the following day. This ability can be used once per day (1x/day) and cannot be renewed.
