Clergy of the Morrigan
NPC Class
The temple of the Morrgian is dedicated to followers of the goddess Morrigan. The Morrigan also known as The Battle Crow, Raven Queen, Phantom Queen, Queen of Nightmares, Queen of Phantoms, The Great Queen, and several other names. The temple has both dedicated Priests and Priestesses as well as Oracles that serve in her temple. Paladins and LMK Battle Clerics can also be found in the temple. The primary role of the Priest or Priestess of the Morrigan is to help sentient beings understand and accept the roles of death and life in the universe. The priest and priestesses of the temple constantly battle against undead. Another duty of the priests and priestesses is to help shepherd souls to their afterlife. As many are fond of saying in the temple “there are worse things than death”.Playing the Priest of the Morrigan
This is an NPC class so if you choose to play it you may gain XP and advance through the levels of the class. This also means that you would not be joining quests but instead would be working to help the other players complete quests and play in the game.Abilities & Duties

Abilities
Level 1
Title: Priest(ess) of the Dark GoddessGhost Talker: You can communicate with Ghosts.

Soul Catcher: You have the ability, and duty, to take fallen fighters to the temple. There they must be picked up by their party or do a task for the temple to be returned to the living. When using this ability a “dead” player can be escorted by a Priest of the Morrigan to return to the temple to be resurrected and does not have to have a party member escort them (which is normally required by the rules).
Level 2
Title: Sentinel of the Raven's CourtHoly Blast: You may cast the Holy Blast Spell six times per day (6x /day). This ability is renewable. Damage must be called out, including the extra damage to undead, devils, and demons if they are the target of the spell.

You will need some sort of item for this, cards, a d20 etc. The admin has a list of standard official results to use that is posted. The results of the reading must be played out immediately, if GP are involved then an IOU must be given, which can be taken to the bank later. You cannot give a reading for yourself.
Blood Sacrifice: In dire situations, the priestess can offer her own blood to the Morrigan, gaining a surge of power to turn the tide of battle or perform a potent ritual. To do this the priest or priestess looses one (1) HP that cannot be healed until the next sunset or sunrise, whichever is first. The one (1) HP is transferred to another player, monster, or NPC. This CAN BE used on NPC undead.
