The Auk

The Auk was a pirate captain who set up his base in the middle of The Summer Isle. He was the main pirate in the region for close to two decades ago till he was attacked in 2796 by the Storm Admiral.   The Auk spent 19 years terrifying the Drocian fleet. Known for his ruthless crew that would sink ships no questions asked, they would attack regardless of what the colors flew were or if you paid for safe passage, for them that was free coin.   He received the name the Auk for he never went to a shore. His base of operations was called the Nest. A large flotilla of boats all anchored and tied together, rope bridges were deployed to create paths and walkways. Boats could come ash or up and leave again. His ship was always just off the edge while he was in town. Many other pirates attempted to take him down yet he had too many faithful crew members with him for any scheme to truly make it to fruition while remaining unseen.   His downfall came when the storm admiral paid a handsome sum of platinum to one of his crew to sneak into the nest and set ablaze the powder kegs in the holds. With a massive explosion the nest was blown skyward, sinking all the ships connected minus a few on the outskirts. The Auks ship escaped but he was in the nest when the explosion happened.   To this day some say he still sails his ship for its wreckage hasn’t been found, and it’s not a far stretch to believe that his crew was faithful beyond death. Much to the dismay of the Storm admiral the body of the Auk was never found leading many of the other pirates to believe that he still resides in his vessel to this day.

If not, it's okay! Not agreeing to be streamed definitely does not put you at any disadvantage for winning in my eyes. Please respond swiftly by replying here (make sure to click REPLY under my comment or I won't be notified), message me on my World Anvil profile page, Discord, or anywhere else you find me online.   Thanks again! Whatever you choose, God bless and much success! <3
