Oracle

Oracles and those gifted with the skills of prophecy are always given a place of standing or regard within the Drocian empire. The gift of prophecy was first seen in the drocian empire with Sandre Drocia the daughter of the empire's first emperor. Sandre was known to give prophecies that would frequently come true. She would make predictions about battles and events that were yet to come. There has been one prophecy of hers that has yet come to fruition:
In years to come the dawn will fall Protected against the world outside The danger will come from with in its wall

Fire and brimstone, smoke and sand A balance broken, a side changed The dark prince will rise and stand

As he grows in power he begins his reign A demon a devil a being of both Summoned from his home by those who thought him sane
There are currently three oracles in the empire, they all reside in the capital where their prophetic gifts allow the ruling class to best guide the empire and help the most people. It is believed by some that those who possess this gift are a descendant of Sandre and it’s this belief that gives people with this ability a place in noble standing.
Sandre never took the throne and what happened to her is largely unknown what happened to her but those with these gifts are seen as her offspring. Given the benefits and association with Sandre there are regularly people who claim to have “the gift” or that someone they know does in hopes that this will get them a free pass to move up in social standing. Unfortunately this rarely works until they have a proven prophecy.
Those with the gift reside in the capital in a building referred to as the grand eye of the empire a large ovular building in which very few people are permitted to enter for the protection of the three gifted ones.
