Samuel Cotter (a.k.a. Warlock)

One of the founding members of The Custodians, Samuel Cotter acts as the major initiator - or instigator depending on who you ask - to take action. He often leaps into situations and relies on his instincts, charisma and wits to get him out of situations over careful planning.

Vortex Strike - A swift punch or kick. Chains easily with itself and can daze opponents.

Shredding Hand - A armblade swing or claw slash that can bleed enemies.

Maelstrom MK III - A short range submachine gun that can ramp from burst fire to full auto.

Siphon Bolt - A script attack that deals damage over time and leeches health at close range.

Sync Link - A sustained script that strains the user while it heals both the user and target over time, and applies all leeching healing the user gains to the target.

Drawing Grasp - A grappling hand that yanks an enemy or ally closer.

Reaping Rend - A claw swing or blade attack that can bleed a foe and leeches health.

Phantom Slip- Script that breaks a Sync Link and allows swift relocation.

Location Trade - A script power that swaps locations with the user and an ally.

Leeching Burst - Submachine gun fire that drains a portion of damage as self healing.

Personal history

Samuel is a former Firewall SIC operative that was gravely injured in a major Infection outbreak prior to The Second Crash. After the incident, he had his format reconstructed with cybernetic replacements and found that he was in possession of unusual script abilities after being nearly devoured by an Infection beast.
This development warranted the attention of Firewall's RDC a few years after The Second Crash, and in order to save himself from being dissected and torn apart for study and experimentation, he fled. It was on the realization on how far Firewall would go to maintain its status quo and sacrifice the few for their benefit that Samuel approached Deandra Byrne in forming The Custodians, which was officially founded shortly after the two saved Morgan Manelle.

He truly shines whenever he is paired with a nearby ally, allowing use of his synchronization ability to sustain healing on himself and his comrade.
