Shadowbark Forest

The surrounding forest, known as the Shadowbark Forest, is dense and ancient, with trees that have gnarled roots and bark that appears almost black. The canopy blocks much of the sunlight, casting the area in a perpetual twilight. Unseen creatures call this forest home, and their eerie calls and rustlings create a constant sense of unease.
