Driftleaf Archipelago

The group of small floating islands is an archipelago of rock, dirt, and grass held aloft by ancient magical forces. These islands are draped in wild greenery and strange floating flora that thrives in the sky. The largest island has a small freshwater spring, while the smaller islands are covered in thick vines and trees with fruits and herbs that glow faintly in the evening.
The islands are always drifting slowly through the sky, carried along by invisible magical winds. They rise and fall gently in the sky, each one tethered to the other by thin trails of mist that bridge the gap between them. The smallest islands barely have enough space to walk on, while the largest is a few hundred meters wide and hosts the ruins of an ancient civilization—a long-forgotten temple with worn stone carvings and crumbling columns.
