Beauty Ideals

The variety of colors in the clothes one wear is the key, because such a thing denotes a high social standing. The man must always be with naturalistic abdominals revealing a physically fit man, and has to have particularly defined muscles. The womans must be small and petite, modesty is the key word on her clothing choice, skiny in nature.

Gender Ideals

The man of Elesh culture is a free man, and females are property. The women have no legal personhood and are considered part of the mans property until she dies. She is part of her fathers property until she marries, after that she is part of the household of the husband. The man has the rigth to own land, and as such controls the finances of the home, voting in the asemblies, and such.

Courtship Ideals

They use marriage as a form of bonding of couples, but having more than one of sexual parters even in marriage is not frown upon. Even the womens can do it without legal consequenses, only if the cheating is with another woman, because they are not consireded citizens, so the things that they do are not consireded actual sex in societal standards. And the man can do it with another man too because they are equals, and love amongst equals is true love.

History

The Elesh are the Bird-People of the deserts and the valleys. They spent centuries as countles Polis, independent city states that only share a culture and sometimes religion, unifiying in leagues from time to time to combat external threats, building piramids and worshiping the sun.

Average Physique

In all acounts they are anthropomorphic birds, with bone structures on their foreheads as a kind of proto exosqueleton that they dont have anymore. The dont have wings, instead their bodies are covered in feathers that they use to alter their internal temperature when walking in the desert. They are extremely acustomed to the extreme temperatures of the desert, having taloned legs to traverse the dunes with ease, eagled eyes to spot preys on the distance, and the dexterity to manouver and hunt it quickly.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

The colours of ones feather is a sign of beauty, green, blue and opal being the most desirable, bronze, yellow, and purple the normal ones; white, brown, and grey the most ugly. Red and black are frowned upon, being omens of death and disgrace. The normal Elesh has all the colours, in varing amounts all over the body, but always at least one or two are the dominant.
