Dark Londinium

The year is 2062, after the great war of 2036 much of the British Isles have been decimated. Those who survived now live in the megacity of Londinium, a merging of London and its surrounding area stretching up the Thames Valley to Oxford , north to St Albans, south down to Crawley and Tonbridge Wells, and west to Reading, Basingstoke and Guildford.   It is a city of contrast, a corporatocracy run by shady guilds. Data is power, and restrictions on access are commonplace. Glistening spires, clean streets and abundance await those who serve the corporations and their interests, within the giant bio-dome that covers "The City", while those lucky enough to live within the smaller bio-dome covered "Districts" carry on the fascade of a lifestyle now since lost to many. Those who fall outside of these areas are known as "Denizens", forced to live in the bombed or poisoned lands around the bio-domes.   These regions outside the bio-domes are made to serve the needs of those who live within the bio-domed districts. They are often almost lawless, but home to millions, by and large they are denied access to the networks of the Corporations, but still fall under their watchful eyes and control. Because of the lack of data access in these areas they are referred colloquially as 'Dark Londinium'.   This is the story of the people of Dark Londinium.
