Natasja Frost grew up on the shrine world of Sophia, a relatively nice planet for Imperium standards with a Adepta Sororitas convent and a large headquarters for the Adeptus Ministorum. Natasja always wanted to join the Sisters of Battle but she was sadly rejected for reasons beyond her understanding, instead she volunteered for the Imperial Guard when her planet had to pay the tithe to the Imperium. At the age of 17 she joined the 62nd Sophian Infantry Regiment, the regiment was founded in early M42, Natasja Frost would slowly climb the ranks and eventually get a field promotion to 2nd Lieutenant, her zeal and ferocity pulled her platoon through many battles and the combined might of her regiments faith could even turn the tide of battle. Everyone in the regiment was of course very zealous as they all came from a shrine world but there was something different about Natasja, she was the most faithful of them all. This would eventually lead to the incident. On the planet of [REDACTED] the 62nd Sophian’s lead a combined strike force with an army of the Adepta Sororitas. During a desperate defensive battle her commander wanted to signal a retreat and abandon the Sisters of Battle to their fate while the regiment would fall back to better defended positions. Natasja beat her commanding officer to death before he could give the order. She took command of the Imperial Guard forces and led the battle to a pyrrhic victory. Her assault upon a commanding officer would normally result in her execution but because she led her forces to victory she has instead been sentenced to live her life out in prison.
