Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Nienna can appear as a young and lithe elfin maid with a mane of rich red-gold hair, a mature but beautiful human woman with hair of flaming auburn, or an old but still striking silver-haired female of indeterminate race.

Body Features

Nienna differs markedly depending on the guise she adopts. As an elfin maid, she appears delicate to the point of fragility. As a mature woman, her shoulders are broad, her hips wide, and her limbs resonate with an unspoken power. As the old woman, her features are sharp and aristocratic.

Facial Features

In all of her guises, Nienna has sharp facial features, high cheek bones, and deep eyes that glow with a green light.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

It is said when mortals were created and they fled from the embrace of the dread god Morr, Nienna pitied them, for the gods did not understand death and to them it seemed a grievous doom. So she used her divine powers to heal and to make whole and keep mortals from the Gardens of Morr for as long as she could. And when in their suffering their fate took them to the Garden, she eased their passing by numbing their pain.   Nienna desires only to keep her beloved mortals from death for as long as she can, still respecting the rule of mortality.
