History of Augusta
The almost 1500-year history of Augusta can barely be touched on in a small work such as this one. Most sages agree, however, that the history of the Eternal City can be broken down into seven distinct ages which reflect the Seven Days of Creation, the Seven Virtues, and the Seven Heavens wherein the faithful shall all gain their reward. The present age is the Age of Light, which will bring human history to a close with the coming of the Divine Child and the final defeat of the forces of darkness:
The Age of Regulus and Raxos, 753 BCY-716 BCY
The Age of Seven Kings, 716 BCY-509 BCY
The Old Republic, 507 BCY-272 BCY
The Khart-Haddagian Wars, 272 BCY-146 BCY
The Age of Regulus and Raxos, 753 BCY-716 BCY
The Age of Seven Kings, 716 BCY-509 BCY
The Old Republic, 507 BCY-272 BCY
The Khart-Haddagian Wars, 272 BCY-146 BCY
The Fall of the Republic, 146 BCY-22 BCY
The Age of Empire, 22 BCY-336 CY
The Age of Light, 336 CY-Present
Each of these ages is treated under its own section. Together, these comprise the basic knowledge of the past known to all literate persons.
