Congregation of the three Isles
The three isles where first inhabited by a civilization during the age of bindings. The original inhabitants are however long gone. The city is now build over the ruins and is a mayor trade hub for Aprax. It is also home to many warlocks and wizards that explore the ruins of the ancient city. Only one of the islands is left mostly in its original state the island of the ancients.
Government
The Carryers of chains and the law of coins rule the city in an uneasy aliance. The laws greatly favor both magical experimentation and trade rights. The laws are however not very beneficial to the average citizen especially the fishermen.
Defences
It has natural defences in the form of the river. The city also boasts many a sommoned celestial and devil to help guard the isles.
Industry & Trade
Much of its wealth comes from trading allong the serene stream. The rest comes from research into the olden days, many magical things are rediscovered within the old ruins.

This island is where most of the normal housing is placed. It's the largest of the three islands and sports many places to stay, work or find a boat. The university is however placed to the south of this island. The more rich people live closer to the university.Guilds and Factions
Carryers of Chains

A coalition of powerfull merchants with Ikanid Viggant the most well known among them.History
During the age of bindings the isles where inhabited. Many of their ruins have stayed intact in the isles for some unkown reason. The city was then repopulated in the 1800s and became a mayor trading post.
Tourism
Tourists can be devided into three categories. Some travel there to discover the ancient city. Others travel to visit the grand temples of Fynear/Raenyf. The last group is there to see the markets with their exotic wares.
Architecture
The oldest buildings are made of a dark obsidian with engravings and decorations in bronze which seems very resistent to wear and tear. The newer buildings are instead made of white stone from the nearby cliffs. The two styles are sometimes mixed together giving a buitifull interchange of black and white stone.
Geography
The white clifs of the serene river tower about 400 meters to either side. The serene stream flows through a slightly more even part and is thus a lot more calm than on the rest of the way. The islands stick about 10 to 20 meters above average water levels and are made of some grey rock.
Climate
Although the desert air above the city is as hot as ever the river greatly cools the city down. The temperature never rises above 15 degrees and is often as low as 4 degrees. A waterfall further up stream also means there are more rain clouds that pass over the city.
Natural Resources
There is a large fishing industry and some kelp that grows on the walls has been used for many things as well from food to clothes. The other parts are relics of the old city which if someone explores deep enough are still up for the taking.
