Byrgisvik

Deep underground Byrgisvik stands as a shining beacon. The large capital of the Dueregars is build on a large colomn that rices from the sea. The city is decided into a few section based on the height of that section.

Damp Streets

The streets that are submerged house many merfolk and other creatures that can breathe underwater. The line between the damp streets and the iron yards is blurry because of the rise and fall of the ocean. So a street might be dry in the morning but when the evening falls it has fallen completely beneath the surface.

Iron Yards

The middle portion of the city lies just above the water line. Here most of the shipping business is conducted: trade, construction of boats and lodgings for sailors.

Golden Crows-nest

The highest part of the city named because of its golden appearance here the government is seated and the more artistic blacksmiths and jewelers work. Although not strictly forbidden it is frowned upon to enter this district without invitation.

Demographics

Dueregar 71%, Merfolk 15%, Drow 10%, Sunwatchers(folk from above ground) 3%, other 1%.

Government

The goverment is made up of representatives of different clans. The desisions of the city itself are made by the king Grendar Magmasail unless one of the other clans has some reason to interfere.
King Grendar has a magnificent white beard that changes color throughout the day.
Emron Magmasail is male tiefling dueregar and son of Grendar he owns a pleseosoures named emerald.
Dimnora (fire light hair) is the daughter of Grendar.

Defences

Great iron constructions lay beneath the surface and can be propped up to stop incoming boats. But the great fleet of Byrgisvik is more than enough protection.

Infrastructure

There is a great spiral staircase that connects the golden crows nest with the iron yards. Many furnaces produce boat parts full time.

Assets

Crows Inn

A small inn in the iron yards run by Nasdala (female dueregar).

Architecture

Stone, iron and coal are used instead of wood so many of the structures have a more grey tint.

Geography

Byrgisvik is in a more shallow part of the ocean. Relativly close to the main drow land. The area is increadibly full of fish and this is the main source of food for the Byrgistans.
