Somebody

A series of characters around Danu who have gone on varying adventures with the crowd and have varying connections between each other. There are some commonalities between them, similar equipment in varying colours, some similar tastes, and some aspects of their stories don't always line up.

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

All members seem to possess similar notebooks, all written jumping between languages seemingly at random to the extent it usually seems nonsensical (imagine using french words but crossshifted into cyrillic script or something for a loose example).

Specialized Equipment

A Dread Helmet - when wearing, the eyes of the wearer seem to glow red (they seem to share that equipment around to create some form of symbolic entity).

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Donophin Barrera - an older mustachioed Sidhe with longer dark hair and hazel brown eyes who trained Nathaniel Clements, Wesley Prescott, and sometimes others. He's more grisly and tired, not having shown up as often, to which Clements and Prescott often denote being due to Barrera trying to retire or rest at times. He was the first member of this connected group to join the Danu Crowd.   Nathaniel Clements - Everyone's "favourite" adventurer for hire and private investigator, known for drawing ID badges in his notebook when needed, heading up the Johnny Funkmire is a Murderer and the Have You Seen This Raccoon campaigns, and his detective novel retellings of stories. Clements is a Sidhe with longer dark hair, stuble and green eyes, with more muted highlights on his clothing. He had a professional rivalry with Wesley Prescott resulting from their mutual training under Donophin Barrera, but would be willing to call him in when needed for a mission.   Wesley Prescott - The so called Master of Sword Art, Wesley Prescott was a showy and more upbeat Human adventurer with a floppy mohawk fading blonde to brown, blue eyes and a scar on his face. He would often regale anyone willing to listen with tales of fanciful sword fights. Recently following the Lympic Games, Wesley Prescott died in an explosion with Clements telling Danu of his one time rivals demise.   Jonas Paul Bathory - A reclusive noble Sidhe of newer money who occasionally attends events when he has the time. He is the not so secret financier of Clements, Barrera, and Prescott, and is mostly known in some regions for having survived a major house fire some time ago. He has shorter, spiky brown hair and heterochromia with a blue and pale blue eye. Bathory is known through word of mouth moreso than he is directly, he has only joined the Danu crowd once when going to the vampire gunpowder plot ball.   Others - Predominately Clements has mentioned having informants but hasn't given direct information on them, the only name known is the surname Cain.     Generally, most information on any of their pasts is a little screwy, they talk mostly of events that happened, sword fights, or detective cases; however some of those can have irregularities in a story or similarities between stories that don't always line up. Clements in particular has made allusions to a close friend who they weren't able to save who had previously helped them through a tough time, but has not named this friend, and has made references to not remembering much of their own past beyond waking up on a beach nearly two years ago by now. Prescott, meanwhile, a ways before his death, did claim to a teenager with rabbit lycanthropy that he understood what it was like to all of a sudden have some ability that they don't understand but did not elaborate further before his death. Clements and Prescott (before his death) exhibited weird magic, having blows glance off their skin or arm, occasionally spraying poison without the common magical incantations and one time absorbing lighting to redirect some into their sword.

Employment

Clements is most known as a private investigator taking smaller cases on the side (lost pets, lost trinkets, as well as the occasional bitter divorce prove someone is cheating case), as was/is Barerra who has trouble retiring. Prescott notes seeking out fun friendly sword fights on the side among some limited case work. Bathory is primarily a noble.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

The main stated goal has been Clements of finding out who he was before awakening on a beach nearly two years ago. Though this has been stated far fewer times than his obsession with the illusive Market and Funkmire leading many to assume his main goal is a conspiracy. Prescott before his death stated wanting to find his place in the world, how he fit into things; while Barerra only ever stated wanting to get to a place where he felt like he could finally rest and didn't have to keep going on and on.

Likes & Dislikes

Clements very much likes mysteries (primarily solving them) for the most part, along with detailed plans with several contingencies, and seems to get a sense of satisfaction when his theory is proven correct. As to dislikes, its generally very clear he dislikes being confused, has a deep dislike of specifically Johnny Funkmire (along with most nobles), and has a stated dislike of memory altering magic. Prescott liked a good sword fight, an awe inspiring feat, and many times a good view. He notoriously disliked losing a fight and has concerns over zombies.   Barerra seemingly likes and dislikes adventuring all at once, he seems tired and weary during it, but his eyes come alive at the same time as though its the only thing breaking up his monotonous existence.   From his one outing, Jonas Paul Bathory seems to enjoy fine wines.   In general, all members of the connected group seem to have some level of enjoyment for mysteries (though none coming close to Clement's sheer obsession), and all seem to have an intense dislike of people with power or resources taking advantage of and abusing people in pursuit of their own gain and seems to not always see those with significant power being capable of much good. They have routinely shown distrust of the rich, nobles, most political figures, most higher ups in larger corporations, and even Archfey. Most of them seem to dislike, avoid, and deflect any questions attempting to poke holes in their stated connections to one another.

Vices & Personality flaws

None of the connected group seem to have any major vices at present bar possible Clements addiction like obsession with mysteries. Most of them have exhibited some more violent tendencies (Clements and Prescott have both threatened to cut off fingers in interrogations, while Barerra brought Molotov Cocktails on a boating adventure in the event they came under attack by another boat).   Clements especially has often been known for making very big connections due to his belief that everything is interconnected, many times coming off akin to a conspiracy theorist. He has often also refused to believe some of his guesses may have been wrong (most notably his continued claim that The "Rockstar" was The Dirtman).   Most members of the connected group seem to have some level of paranoia as well, the most people can tell being mostly drawn to a fear or concern of being used as a weapon or something, tending to become somewhat panicked when backed into a proverbial corner but always calming with a clear prepared plan.   In the face of information they need, predominately Clements but also seen in Prescott, there tends to be an element of hunger, a harsher drive that can narrow their mind into a single track.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Barerra, Clements, Prescott, and Bathory have a business connection to each other. With Bathory funding the P.I. Agency that is primarily Clements with Prescott and Barerra occasionally taking cases.

Family Ties

Unknown, Clements in particular has stated that his memories do not include who his parents were or any siblings (part of wanting to know who he was). But per their descriptions of each other, Clements and Prescott saw each other somewhat as slightly tumultuous pseudo step-brothers, while both have said they see Barerra as a mentor and a father figure (to which Barerra has claimed them both to be the sons he never had). Not related, but Clements' description of the close friend paint's him to be akin to family as well.

Hobbies & Pets

For the most part only Clements and Prescott (who have been the most frequent members of the connected group to appear at Danu) have referenced much about other hobbies, with Clements occasionally noting an interest in reading and novels beyond his noted hobby of "solving mysteries", while Prescott was mainly focused on sword fighting and would spar on the regular when he got the opportunity or even fight in small local tournaments for fun.
