Misery
A major Archfae of the Unseelie Court, and creator of "The Woods".
This creature feeds on the misery of others and will go out of their way to manipulate people to create unfavorable situations for others.
Physical Description
Body Features
While their original, child-like body can be found twisted into the dark bark of a tree deep within Pocosin, The Great Bog, their new and long standing form has taken after the location of their original cruel fate.
A tall, lumbering dark creature that is seen only in shadow, with two glowing eyes being the only thing to pierce the darkness. Long branch -like tendrils reach out of the darkness as their arms and twisted twig antlers are seen in silhouette.
Special abilities
Misery has always had the ability to manipulate the memories of others around them. They can lend a limited version of this power to their followers as well.

Personal history
Once a child-like High Fae of the early Unseelie Court, once the unknown original ruler had left, Misery had always tried to grow into the power vacuum left behind. They continuously used their manipulative powers to pit others against each other or exhaust their motivation to gain more.
Misery met their first end when they overstepped and were caught. They used their memory powers to re-write the memories of Wanderlust, as part of a deal with Titania, to believe she had only ever been a Seelie Court fae and had thus betrayed her court by having a relationship with Gloom (who would not have been known as gloom at the time). Gloom caught wind of this and chased them into Pocosin where Gloom stabbed them over the broken branch of a magical tree that seeped out their remaining energy.
The court believed this creature to die, but in reality it found itself inThe Edge on the brink of death. It found a few other lost creatures there and absorbed their power to gain just enough energy to stabilize itself. They began to shape this plane to their will, finding more and more lost souls here and draining them to turn them into dark twisted trees in the image of the one that sapped the energy from itself. Before long they had built themself a domain of a dark forest.
During this time, they also began to accumulate power into a lantern that that had conjured when first walking the dark plane of The Edge. Once they had stabilized themself, they sent (tricked) on of the creatures that found themselves in "The Woods" back to Albin with the lantern in hand, thus began Misery's infiltration back into the world.
