Torsten Horn

The Torsten horn is a gift given to Torsten leaders from another Torsten clan when on a visit. It is seen as a mark of respect, as Torsten love music and the horn produces beautiful, low-pitched melodies. These horns are mainly hand-crafted, with the use of a few Elemental powers, and are decorated with strange markings on the surface. Some academics believe the markings are part of the Torsten language. However, not many people have been able to prove that because the Torsten are quite hostile to outsiders.
The horns can also be given to outsiders if they have earned the trust of the Torsten. This is to forge an alliance with the person receiving the gift, and also to tell other Torsten clans that the owner of the horn is not to be harmed or ostracised. The markings on the horn are quite different for outsiders, but they are still understood by other Torsten.

Appearance

The horns come in various shapes and sizes to accomodate the person accepting the gift. There are markings on the surface, which light up when the person plays a melody.
