Bisya
Bisya is one of the most famous youth subcultures in the Sunlit Horizon. It started as a fashion movement in the northern islands to bring comfort and style to young people. People who are part of Bisya incorporate fabrics of many textures in their clothes. This is where the name Bisya comes from - it means tactile in Kozita.
The Kozoni are known for their high sensitivity, especially in touch and sound. Bisya incorporates many textures to bring comfort to its adherents. This was very much needed as the recent droughts brought mass unemployment to the northern part of the region. Young people were unhappy with their futures and choices being taken away from them, especially as their tribes were more conservative and restrictive. So they found comfort in two things: cowpokes and fabrics. Later, young people mixed the two to form what we now call Bisya.
