Haplodiploidy

Haplodiploidy is a condition held by all Hymendia peoples, in which siblings share more traits and higher relatedness to each other than their queen (and more relatedness to each other than siblings of other species). This higher relatedness results in more altruistic behavior toward the colony than oneself.
