Those digging fields or campfire pits should inspect the area thoroughly for Terinav first. Its spiky green leaves look similar to thistle and are easily overlooked, but the telltale black undervein on the leaves should be sufficient to identify it.

It is essential that you not touch the roots of this plant with bare skin (or even simple leather gloves), as the oils within can immediately permeate the skin barrier and cause immediate incapacity for up to a minute as they interfere with the brain's operation. A larger or prolonged dose is sufficient to cause a form of long term madness.
