Sea creatures- general
The seas around Daly throng with marine life- sapient, sentient and beast.
Dolphins frolic in the warmer waters to the north, especially in Palmbar Bay, while Whales are a common sight up the west coast. Sharks are well represented, with at least 3 known species cruising the coastline and deeper waters.
Smaller creatures include Quippers (although these tend to be found more commonly in rivers and lakes), Crabs, Octopuses, Sea horses, and 'eating fish' ranging from sardines to enormous rays.
Similarly, the rivers and lakes teem with creatures- the most notable are the Sweetfish coming from the Lake Liot area and the famous Greenwater shrimp from the brackish lower curves of the Lovil.
