Orc

Full orcs are not welcomed into Dalian society. Although it is known there are several orcish warbands who roam the wilder places in the kingdom, they are not found within the towns and cities- unless they happen to be raiding them.

No orc to date has managed to pass the testing to be granted citizenship, which has led the crown over several centuries to conclude that their chaotic and evil nature are at fundamental odds with the rule of law and social conventions of the kingdom.

As such, they are considered monsters by most, and are currently forbidden from settling within Dalian territory. Lone orcs wishing to petition for citizenship may do so- but none have for decades, and each previous attempt has been revealed as a poorly disguised scouting mission to look for weaknesses.
