Oghma (Ogg-mah)
Oghma is sometimes referred to as 'Oghma of the sunny countenence', due to his habit of beaming inspiration and knowledge to his chosen in the form of rays of light- the shaft of sunlight in a dusty library falling on the perfect book to provide the final idea for a theory, for example, or the delicate brush of light gilding a scene so perfect it must be captured in song.
He is said to be the first god to invent writing, and so usher in a new era for the races, one where knowledge and art could be shared and learnt freely, and prizes those who create in any way, as well as those who gather and seek knowledge.
He is Neutral Good, typically acting to advance the races equally without any particular moral code other than the sharing of knowledge and creation of art and beauty in all its forms.
Most often, he is seen as a halfling, gnome or elf, although always with sunny golden hair and a fair countenance.
