Monsters in Daly

For many years, 'monsters' had been driven back in Daly, most believing them legends- or rumours at best. The past few years have seen them creeping out of the lost places of the Kingdom.

Monsters in this context are used to refer to those creatures who do not fall into the clear categories of Humanoid, Beast or Plant, and do not hail from another plane of reality. Sometimes interchangeably referred to as 'Monstrosities', these tend to be frightening creatures that are not ordinary, not truly natural, and almost never benign. Some are the results of magical experimentation gone awry, and others are the product of terrible curses. For the sake of simplicity, some monsters that are not technically 'monstrosities' are also included in this section, such as the various oozes.
