Manticore

Manticores had long been thought to have been driven out of Daly, but increasing reports of sightings over the past few years have led many to believe they are back, and seem to be claiming the area to the South of Lake Liot as their own. Despite their beastlike, monstrous appearance, Manticores have demonstrated sufficient intelligence and ability to converse that they are considered sapient species.
