Lord/Lady

Lords and Ladies in Daly are the sons and daughters of the peerage (Dukes, Counts and Barons). Their title only changes if they marry a Peer of the realm or inherit their family title, otherwise they remain Lord or Lady for life.
A Lord or Lady that marries shares the title with their partner, but not their children. Therefore, in a similar way to the Princes and Princesses, there can be three or so generations of Lords/Ladies in each noble house- the Aunts and Uncles of the current Peer, the siblings of the current Peer, and the children of the current Peer- but not the nieces and nephews of the current Peer.
In general, Lords and Ladies are considered 'lesser' nobility, although a lesser noble from a Duke's house still tends to have far more political weight than a Knight.
Lords are referred to as Lord or Lady {First Name} of {Family Seat}, e.g. Lady Eleanor of the Duchy of Lovil.
