Kruthik

Kruthik have been seen in the deserts of the North, and several reports have been made of stumbling across the tunnels they make as they burrow through the earth.

Kruthik are horse-sized reptiles that nonetheless have a chitinous armour like ants. They live in sprawling hives and are deadly when encountered in swarms, as they work as if they have a shared mind to isolate, distract and destroy prey.

They are known to incorporate existing underground structures into their hives, however, and often share space with the monsters and creatures that had been living in said structures.
