Elementals

Most Elementals have sufficient intelligence to be considered sapient, although they usually speak exclusively in their own tongue. Their natures are so alien, however, that they are unlikely ever to integrate into Dalian society. As they can usually travel back and forth to the elemental planes, they are not usually considered even a native species, instead often being categorised under the mental tag of 'unexpected visitors'- not unlike the Fey creatures, in that regard.
