Diancecht (Dye-ann-key-eck-t)

Diancecht is the healer of the gods, using her powers and knowledge to heal them from battle and preserve life where she can.
She ministered to her injured brethren by soaking them in her well of healing during the battles of the gods.  The well is located at the Field of the Apple Tree, in the grounds of the Palace of the Bright.
Diancecht is commonly known to have been the one to introduce the use of beneficial herbs to the races, and hence begin the practice of alchemy as well as advancing the knowledge of medicine.
Dian Cécht, when questioned on her ability, has boasted to be able mend anyone but those who have been decapitated (or whose brain or spinal cord have been severely damaged)- so far this has been borne out, and it is typically either Diancecht or Goibniu who are responsible for the functioning of healing spells and revivification magics.
Diancecht is heavily worshipped by midwives and healers as the goddess of birth especially- echoes of gods being reborn whole and hearty from her well can be drawn- and it is not unusual for many to give equal praise to both Arawn and Diancecht at birthing times- Arawn for talent and knowledge reborn, and Diancecht for health and longevity.
Diancecht is commonly understood to be Lawful Good, and appears most often as a Tabaxi, Half-Elf, or Half-Orc.
